Have you earned credits from another college or university and want to transfer to a US university? You can transfer directly into Oregon State University.
Students that have received credits from another college or university can transfer to Oregon State University. Students can transfer directly into OSU or choose the Undergraduate Transfer Program (UTP) which is designed specifically to support international students through the process of transferring.
The UTP provides a customized path for students seeking a bachelor’s degree. Before arriving, students credits will be personally evaluated and given an estimate of transferable credits to make sure there is no repeated coursework. After arrival, our friendly staff will be available to help students transition into a four year public research university. Students will have access to helpful resources including academic, English language and cultural support.
2.25 college/university GPA from minimum of 15 quarter or 12 semester credits
Please note that academic performance is not the sole criterion for admission to the university. The university may evaluate a person's behavior and background to determine their ability to maintain the standards of academic and professional conduct expected at the university. An evaluation may take into consideration current behavior and performance as well as past experiences and actions. Simply qualifying for admission does not guarantee admission.
Applicants who are ineligible to re-enroll at any college or university that they attended within the last seven years for student conduct reasons will be automatically declined admission at OSU. Applicants who are unable to re-enroll at a previous college or university for academic reasons will be considered for admission only if they meet OSU’s minimum academic requirements.
