Postbaccalaureate

Do you already have a bachelor's degree and are looking to earn a second bachelor's? You'll enroll as a postbac student. The English requirements are similar to First-year and Transfer undergraduate degree admission, but the college you're applying to will make the final admission decision about your academic admissibility.

Academic Requirements

Academic requirements and admissibility are determined by college/department for each applicant.

 

English Requirements
  • 80 iBT TOEFL (minimum 16 subscores)
  • 6.5 IELTS 
  • Completion of two or more full-time semesters/quarters with at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, in a rigorous program in the U.S. or from one of the following English speaking countries: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Nigeria, and United Kingdom
  • 110 Duolingo 

 

Applicants who are ineligible to re-enroll at any college or university that they attended within the last seven years for student conduct reasons will be automatically declined admission at OSU. Applicants who are unable to re-enroll at a previous college or university for academic reasons will be considered for admission only if they meet OSU’s minimum academic requirements
