Provost's Scholarship for Excellence 

Program Group: International Direct, International Year One, University Transfer Program, Transfer
Amount: $6,000/year
Duration: Up to 4 years (renewable)
Eligibility/More Info: 

  • No application process
  • New students with GPA of 3.5+ qualify for consideration
  • Renewable with a 3.0 GPA
  • No application or action required for renewal

IB or A-Level Scholarship

Program Group: International Direct, International Year One, University Transfer Program, Transfer
Amount: $6,000/year
Duration: Up to 4 years (renewable)
Eligibility/More Info: 

  • No application process
  • New students with the full IB Diploma or three A-levels qualify for consideration
  • UTP or transfer students admitted with full IB Diploma and A-Levels are eligible for consideration. Transfer students admitted with post-graduate transcripts are not eligible
  • IB Diploma score of 30 or higher
  • orA-levels with minimum of two B’s and one C
  • Renewable with a 3.0 GPA
  • No application or action required for renewal

Regional Scholarship

Program Group: International Direct, International Year One, University Transfer Program, Transfer, Graduate Pathway, Masters International Direct
Amount: Varies
Duration:  One-time scholarship
Eligibility/More Info: 

  • No application process
  • Based on availability according to region of the world
  • This scholarship is not merit-based

Honorary Scholarship for Leadership (for those applying to admission Fall 2020)

In honor of our former colleagues Ian Sanders, Nancy Heiligman and Mark McCambridge who exhibited leadership and dedication to Higher Education 

Program Group: International Direct
Amount: $10,000
Eligibility/More Info: 

  • Application process based on merit and evidence of leadership
  • For students admitted as an International Direct student with a GPA of 3.75+
  • Applicants should submit an essay of 500-1000 words outlining their leadership experience to [email protected]
  • Scholarship recipients will have opportunities for leadership roles during the first year of their program

Scholarship amounts and availability requirements are subject to change. All OSU scholarship listed above require a non-resident tuition status. Must be accepted to the university first in order to receive a scholarship.
