    Go Beyond the Classroom

We don’t just allow undergraduate research. We encourage it. Every year, more than 2,000 Oregon State undergraduates make real contributions to faculty research or pursue projects of their own. Some students even get grant funding and publish their findings before they graduate.

See the world — and give your education a global perspective. Oregon State offers more than 200 Study Abroad programs on all seven continents, along with international internships and research in over 70 countries.

See how what you’re learning in class works in the real world. Internships give you valuable on-the-job experience and professional contacts that can give you a head start on your career. In some cases, an internship can lead to a full-time job offer after graduation.

Challenge yourself in the Honors College — offering small classes with top professors, outstanding research opportunities and a collaborative, supportive community that encourages curiosity and rewards creativity.
