Fall 2025 Application News - Corvallis Campus
If you have already applied to OSU in Corvallis:
If you applied by the February 3 Priority Deadline and have submitted the required materials listed in your Beaver Basecamp portal (due by Feb. 14th), you will learn of your admission status before March 15th. This year's applicant pool is our largest ever and admission is competitive. Due to capacity, some applicants that would traditionally meet our admission standards may be offered admission to OSU-Cascades only.
Students admitted to OSU must confirm their enrollment by May 1st.
Students offered a spot on our Waiting List, and who have accepted their spot, will learn if they have been admitted from the Waiting List by May 14, 2025.
If you have not yet applied to OSU for Summer or Fall 2025 terms:
The Corvallis campus of Oregon State University is no longer accepting applications for new degree-seeking freshmen enrolling in Summer or Fall 2025.* However, you still have great opportunities for enrollment through OSU. Your options include:
- Apply to OSU-Cascades in beautiful Bend, Oregon or start your OSU degree online (Ecampus). Note that you would have the opportunity to change your campus location to Corvallis after the Fall term based on space availability at that time.
- Apply for a later term at OSU in Corvallis. You may take a break from school and decide to start in the Winter quarter (January 2026) or Spring quarter (April 2026), or even defer to Fall 2026.
- Apply as a transfer student for a future term after enrolling in another college for Fall 2025, even as early as January 2026 (Winter term).
- See below for additional details and enrollment options.
*Summer and Fall 2025 late application exceptions
OSU in Corvallis is still accepting applications from some individuals where on-campus housing is typically not required. This includes new freshmen that already reside within 30 miles of Corvallis and won't require OSU housing in their first year, freshman applicants who have been out of high school for more than one year at the time of anticipated enrollment, and freshman Degree Partnership Program applicants who plan to take more than half of their coursework at their DPP partner community college in Fall 2025.
If you will be a freshman and think that you may qualify under one of these exceptions, you must take this brief qualification survey. If you qualify to apply, you will be provided with instructions on how to do so.
If you applied to Corvallis by the February 3 deadline and have your application canceled:
If you applied to Corvallis by the February 3 deadline and have your application canceled because you don't provide the necessary documents (transcripts, etc.) by the February 14th document deadline, you'll be able to update your application in Beaver Basecamp and be considered for admission again based on available changes made to your campus (changing to OSU-Cascades or Ecampus) or term (changing to a term after Fall 2025). Once you make a change, you will receive your admission decision for that new campus and/or term.
If you have any questions about your application status or options for attending OSU, please contact us at [email protected] or via phone at (541) 737-4411.
