The Corvallis campus of Oregon State University is no longer accepting applications for new freshmen enrolling in Summer or Fall 2023.*
If you have already applied and provided all required documents to complete your application file, you will receive news of your admission status by mid-March. In some cases, students may be offered a spot on our Waiting List.
If you have submitted an application, but have yet to provide documents to complete your file, you have until April 3rd to do so to be considered for admission to the Corvallis campus.
Admitted students may continue to add Degree Partnership Program (dual enrollment with community college partners) at any time prior to enrollment in the Fall.
If you have not already applied, you still have great options for enrollment through OSU. Your options include:
Any of these four changes can be made in your Beaver Basecamp portal. Once you make a change, you will receive your admission decision for that new location and/or term. Note that you can switch freely to and between OSU Cascades and Ecampus, but you cannot switch back to the Corvallis campus until after the end of the Fall 2023 term.
*Summer and Fall 2023 Exceptions:
OSU in Corvallis is still accepting applications from new freshmen that already reside within 30 miles of campus, as well as freshman applicants who have been out of high school for more than one year (at the time of anticipated enrollment). Both of these populations are exempted from our on-campus living policy. If you meet either of these requirements, you should contact us at [email protected] or via phone at (541) 737-4411 to inquire about how to apply for the Summer or Fall 2023 term.
Apply to our branch campus in Bend, OR. You get the best of both worlds at OSU–Cascades: the personal attention of a small campus, plus the strengths of Oregon’s leading public research university. Students who start at OSU-Cascades are able to change to Corvallis in a future term (Winter or Spring).
Oregon State Ecampus is ranked #5 in the nation and top 10 for the eighth straight year by U.S. News & World Report. First-year scholarships are not available to Ecampus students. Students who start at Ecampus are able to change to Corvallis in a future term (Winter or Spring).
Non-degree students are part-time students and are expected to enroll in no more than eight credits per term. Non-degree students do not qualify for financial aid or on-campus housing. Students who start as non-degree are able to apply as degree-seeking in a future term (Winter or Spring).
