Fall 2023 Application News - Corvallis Campus

The Corvallis campus of Oregon State University is no longer accepting applications for new degree-seeking freshmen enrolling in Summer or Fall 2023.*

Students offered a spot on our Waiting List will learn of decisions on May 15, 2023.

If you have not already applied or were admitted and canceled after May 1 because you had not confirmed your enrollment, you still have great options for enrollment through OSU.  Your options include:

• Switch your campus location to OSU-Cascades in beautiful Bend, Oregon or pursuing your OSU degree online (Ecampus). Note that you would have the opportunity to change your campus location after the Fall term based on space availability.
• Change the term you plan to enroll at OSU in Corvallis. You may take a break from school and decide to start in the Winter quarter (January 2024) or Spring quarter (April 2024), or even defer to Fall 2024.
• Withdraw your application for Fall as a new student and apply as a transfer student for a future quarter after enrolling in another college for Fall, 2023, even as early as January 2024.
• Enroll in the Degree Partnership Program for Fall 2023 and take your courses at a participating DPP community college partner school in Fall, then enroll at OSU in a future term (without needing to reapply as a transfer).

Any of these four changes can be made in your Beaver Basecamp portal. Once you make a change, you will receive your admission decision for that new location and/or term. Note that you can switch freely to and between OSU Cascades and Ecampus, but you cannot switch back to the Corvallis campus until after the end of the Fall 2023 term.

*Summer and Fall 2023 Exceptions:

OSU in Corvallis is still accepting applications from new freshmen that already reside within 30 miles of campus, as well as freshman applicants who have been out of high school for more than one year (at the time of anticipated enrollment).  Both of these populations are exempted from our on-campus living policy.  If you meet either of these requirements, you should contact us at [email protected] or via phone at (541) 737-4411 to inquire about how to apply for the Summer or Fall 2023 term.
