ONID provides students official OSU email accounts, web server space, and access to CANVAS plus your student portal where you can pay your ATD to notify the Admissions Office that you are attending OSU. ONID registration is also required to access additional scholarship opportunities at OSU including college and departmental scholarships.

Register Your ONID Account

The ATD applies to all newly admitted students to confirm your enrollment to OSU and is payable online through myOSU portal.

Submit your FAFSA

  • To be considered for financial aid from federal and state sources, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and list Oregon State University as one of your first six choices, with Federal School Code 003210. For the best chance of receiving aid, you should submit your FAFSA to the central processor by February 1.
  • Accepting Financial Aid: If you submitted your FAFSA, you will receive a Financial Aid Award Offer. This letter outlines your financial aid package listing the financial assistance Oregon State can offer to help bridge the gap between your own resources and the cost of attending Oregon State. You can accept, reject, or revise your Financial Aid Award through MyOSU by completing the following steps:
    • Select the Paying for College tab
    • Select Financial Aid Awards
    • Select the appropriate year (ex. 2018-2019)
    • Review your Terms & Conditions by selecting the Terms and Conditions tab
    • Select Accept Award Offer tab
    • Make your decisions about the aid that you want; Click Submit when done

The OSU Admission Application included a scholarship section that covers the majority of OSU's various scholarship opportunities. Some OSU colleges and academic departments offer scholarships to students majoring in their programs. Incoming students are also eligible to apply for scholarships offered by their department and/or college once they have set up their ONID account.

Apply for Housing

  • All students must submit health history and immunization information to Student Health Services. For information and links needed to complete the requirement go to Student Health Services.
  • Note that OSU has expanded immunization requirements, including the meningococcal B immunization which can take weeks to get and administer depending on the location of your administering physician.  YOU MUST PLAN AHEAD if you wish to attend OSU.

Visit Campus

START is an opportunity for new, fall term OSU students to come meet with an academic advisor, discuss program options, and register for fall term courses. In addition, both students and parents are provided useful information to familiarize them with OSU. For questions about START, call 541-737-7627.
